Are women suprised?

I saw this the other day while reading the Japan Times. It's this story about a developing trend in Japan. You can probably guess from the title what this story will be about: "Men retreat from 'hassle' of loving relationships". By Kaori Shoji

This was a pretty interesting read. Now I don't know if men are "retreating" but more like less tolerant of the bullsh*t that some/most females offer.

I was lucky as my wife gave me little B.S. when we were going out. I am pretty lucky to have found
her. A women that has seemingly "settled" for me without really thinking she settled.

Lord knows she could do lots better. But somehow she was able to make a
"blink" decision and accepted me... For better or worser. I am truly blessed and it will always befuddle me on how I got so blessed.

I'm tired of women and their list of demands on what their "to be" mate must have or possess. To have a dating relationship on a balance sheet and then go into a marriage with those assestments... I can't be thinking it would be a good thing. When does it stop?

Well Miss or Ms. Snoots (or even Mrs.), you do deserve the best and you should only marry one that can provide for richer or better only. And of course you should only marry upward$. But that's a rant for another time.

What men are learning now is that we can wait. And that international women are a more viable possibility in our Global Economy.

I don't make the rules I just try living as best I can with them. And I don't know about my wife but I am thankful for the times we struggle. It gives me hope that one day we will laugh about these "struggles" and see the progress that we have made... together. Hopfully building the foundation of a strong marriage.

But alas, only time will tell (and I do have to get my arse in gear) to see if my suppositions are true. I hope so and it sounds good in theory but things happen. But at this point I think we will be okay.

vin.
