Already gone?

 

Went to park ave today to see the tulips and it was sad. whole patches of nothing but stems. I couldn't believe it was the same flowers that I saw a couple of days ago.

Unfortunately the wife couldn't see the tulips in their splendor like I was able to. Maybe next time. But I'm thinking the timing is very precarious.

It will be neat in a few years when we are back in California and visiting NYC. We are really getting to know this place and I wonder if we will be waxing poetic about the times we use to travel around by bus because we were bored or tired of taking the subway... Spring time as quick as it came is blowing me away again.
